Welcome to the Nieuwendijk store

A beautiful building located at the end of the Beurspassage from Damrak to Nieuwendijk. This incredible work of art contains all sorts of Amsterdam related items and is a feast for your eyes. Check out the restaurants in the side streets around our store for a bite to eat. Enjoy the many shops or find your way to the impressive Magna Plaza next to Dam Square.

We look forward to your visit

The Nieuwendijk is one of the oldest (shopping) streets of Amsterdam. Along with the Kalverstraat, the Nieuwendijk formed the dike along the western bank of the Amstel in the early 1200's. The oldest known, privately owned, wooden houses in Amsterdam were built here around the year 1225. In 1250 they built a dam with locks, now known as Dam Square. We are proud to now be part of a street with such a rich history.

"You can almost 'feel' the history when you work in this store. Such a beautiful and historic building right in the middle of the Nieuwendijk"
